A great team

I've been busy with commercial work recently for a company that manufactures dog grooming products and chews. Thanks to my many lovely dog-owning friends, I've been able to create lifestyle images featuring lots of different breeds of dogs in a variety of locations.
Naturally, I always like to thank my assistants and their models by creating a portrait of some kind to show my appreciation for their time and effort. As we had completed our second shoot and already had a dog portrait in the bag, the owner asked for something of the two of them. The image below was the result of a late afternoon shoot in April, when the light had become soft and mellow.
These two are just such a great team; they are both full of energy. Capturing their special relationship was an honour, and it has been such a joy to work with them both.
