Lovely light

I just adore soft winter light. This image of the springer spaniel Fidget was created on Leith Hill on a misty December morning. It was ideal as a dog with his colouring is the most challenging to photograph. Keeping all the detail when you have such a high contrast is nigh on impossible when the sun is shining, even in winter. And the grass was such a gift.
