It was worth waiting for the winter sun to hit the stubble…

Just love the light on the beach, especially in the winter. There's nothing quite like it…

There's just no stopping Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro with another two world record scores at Olympia 2014. It's such a beautiful partnership. I never thought I would see the day when a Brit is the title holder of every major championship (Olympic, World, European and World Cup) and is showing the world what harmony is all about. Proud to be British - even if I am half German!

Trying to choose my favourite image from the Hurlingham Club Styled Wedding Shoot is pretty difficult, there were so many special moments.

What an exhausting day, but I wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world. Always great to work with Matthew Bishop Photography and, to top it all, all the suppliers were top-notch, the models ballet dancers.

Just take a look at the flowers and the scale of them, I don't want to think how much they would cost! Better start saving for my boys' weddings! Will try not to be the mother-in-law from hell, but can't make any promises…

Now for something completely different, I am excited to share with you a couple of images from my latest venture, boudoir photography.

Top left in the picture is our model, the lovely Emily Waugh - she is the girl next door, literally, not a professional model - before the talented Emma Josey Hair & Make-Up Artist started work.

I am now a fully qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, having been awarded my Licentiateship today. Most exciting of all is that I've been nominated for the prestigious Best Licentiate of the Year Award.

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped me on my journey, especially Emily Hancock FBIPP, without whom none of this would have happened.

Thank you Ashley Rossiter from Mirror Me PR for this behind-the-scenes video of the Freddie Parker fashion shoot at the Lanigan's racing yard in Lambourn this summer.

The value of a good PR is so obvious when I see how all my images from this shoot have been used and appeared in all sorts of media over the past few months and I've been reliably informed there's lots more to come!

It's always extra special when a client chooses to have a framed image and it also happens to be my personal favourite. And I do think this grey frame works rather well with the blue roan…

I just love this little 6"x6" album with its 10 prints. There's a lovely Dutch expression "Klein maar fijn" which translates something like "small but perfectly formed" in this instance. Can't wait to show it to my client.

Sometimes it's worth spending the extra and I've done just that to display my portfolio images. Thank you Plastic Sandwich! More will be revealed regarding this investment in due course...

It was great to catch up with so many people at the Nationals and I had such fun experimenting creating some different shots.

Some horses just exude character and presence and the subject of today's shoot was certainly one of those horses. His colouring - blue and white roan - certainly make him stand out from the crowd.

It was great fun photographing Torty and her stunning waterproof jackets, especially as her 10-year-old daughter decided to help out with the modelling.
